Summer Practice is in full swing - Thursday nights at 6:30 PM @ Como Park. We are now moving into more 10s practice as we prepare for Madison and rolling into the fall season - so if you haven't been out much this summer, now is the time to get yourself out to practice. Directions to Practice

Our last summer tournament before Jesse James is the Stuart Daily Tens in Madison, WI on August 9th. This is a player funded tournament and should be around $20 per player. Madison, as I'm sure you know and I'm sure anyone who went last year will tell you, is a fun time, and this is a well run tournament. Please let Zeth know if you intend on making the trek across the state.
Our league schedule for the Fall 2008 season has already been announced by the Union. Things are always subject to change, but it should be fairly close. Go ahead and mark your calendars now, especially for the road trip to Canada so we can travel strong. Also note that if we make the playoffs, we potentially have TWO more weeks of games after the end of the regular season.

It is with great overwhelming sorrow that we pass along the news that we have lost one of the best men to ever don a Pigs jersey and step foot onto the pitch in our service: Mike "Buca" Lundberg. He touched all of our lives in many ways, through perpetual optimism on and off the pitch, helping out with club activities, working on anyone's house when requested, willing to lend an ear and offer sound advice whenever asked are just a few examples.
